I wish I could say I was the smooth Eli as I started dating my wife but I was completely panel 3 Eli.
I did make the first move in our relationship but my wife would somehow find this if I didn’t also mention that on our first date she said “The way you asked me out was exactly pathetic enough to be cute so I said yes.” Our relationship then somehow survived having us go to Cowboys vs Aliens instead of The Help because I wanted a “low stakes whatever movie we can make fun of”. My only explanation as to why is that we stayed up chatting super late and ended up also watching Clue at my place, so thank you for your service Mr. Curry, you will be missed.
omg I love it. In a couple of chapters, we will go back in time properly for an entire chapter to really see how these two started, and you will see how pathetic and down bad Eli was. Total aura loss for this man. I think you’ll enjoy 😆
