Just wanted to say a quick thank you for this one. I’ve been sad that I haven’t picked up my guitar in forever and and after reading this I reached up and grabbed my 12 to to strum through the song I wrote for my wedding. I’m not a great composer but if I ever wrote something about this comic I think it would be in my favorite tuning, half step down. Everything sounds just a bit sadder on the flats and sharps, but it makes bringing out happy sounds through that melancholy always made them so much sweeter sounding to me, and I think that’s how I saw Cass seeing Eli here. I’m kinda trying to write like a E Ionian major mode thing that dances a bit between the e major and c minor but I’m also actually quite bad at theory so that will probably be a starting point because I’m not even sure I said it right. I’ll try to share if anything happens from it, thanks again for making me put hands on an instrument, it’s been too long no matter what comes of it.
