A sprawling megacity world and capital of the Hyperion System, this planet is paved from pole to pole. Locals call it “The Heavy Planet,” half joke, half truth, saying if the universe had a bottom, this place would’ve sunk to it by now. This is where Cass and Eli are from.
Cass’s interstellar superyacht, this ship is the height of luxury. Fast and spacious, Eli jokes that there are rooms he doesn’t think Cass has ever been in. The front section of the ship is the living quarters, remodeled to Cass’s liking.

DEMIGODS / PART-TIME GODS
Demigods in this galaxy are a mixed bag: status symbols in some places, punchlines in others. In modern systems like Hyperion, they’re more like elite influencers than deities, nicknamed “part-timers” for playing god without doing the work. Demigods usually have one flashy power, like Cass’s ability to jump through space, but they’re mostly used for party tricks.
OLD GODS / FULL-TIME GODS
Ancient, ruthless, and shaping reality from their stronghold in the Unknown Galaxy. Cass’s father ranks among the oldest and most feared, known for his cruelty and power.
